Winter Skin Care - Part Two

Updated: Mar 28, 2019

I keep up-to-date with the latest in skin care so you don't have to. Part two of your winter skin care regime is about the small but mighty serums and boosters.

"How can such a small bottle be so important?" Experiencing a shift in your skin condition?  No need to buy a whole new regime, simply adjust to your new skin by adding a booster or serum.

If you have yet to add a serum or booster to your routine, start the New Year by amplifying results with targeted serums and boosters.  Most of us need that added boost of concentrated hydration that serums and oils provide.  They are readily absorbed to restore and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. Plus, depending on which you choose, it can combat sensitivities and prevent future irritation like Dermalogica's Barrier Defense Booster.

Dermalogica’s Barrier Defense Booster is a concentrated oil that soothes and nourishes irritated skin. When used daily, it can also help prevent skin irritation before it starts.  Apply 6-10 drops over face before moisturizer.

TIP: Bonus, this is also great for clients suffering from psoriasis and eczema.

Brightening Vitamin C Serum, I like to refer to it as "glow in a bottle".  You will smooth a small amount of this over your cleansed face and neck before moisturizing.

I recommend this serum if you want to reduce unbalanced pigmentation, reduce appearance of fine lines and boost collagen.  It will brighten, firm AND defend against free radicals.

You're in good hands with the products above but if you'd like to get a full service skin overview come in for a Dermalogica Core or Core Plus service.  I'll complete a face mapping skin analysis and recommend products best suited for your skin enabling you to reach your skin goals.
